CONNECTING CULTURES IN CHRIST
is a ministry with the purpose of mobilizing Southeast Alaska Natives to missions.

Vision
Connecting
cultures of tribal peoples for the purpose of advancing the ministry
and message of Jesus Christ to unreached indigenous people by
discipleship, training, raising the standard of excellence in
leadership, and encouraging intimate relationship with the Lord.
Objective
As
Connecting Cultures encourages the Native people of Southeast Alaska to
enjoy worshiping the Creator through traditional and culturally
relevant celebration, we believe there will be a new sense of honor and
respect between cultures and communities. Our hope is that there will
be a release of young Southeast Alaska Natives to missions, sharing
Jesus through their culture to tribal peoples around the world who
await the news of the One True Creator - that they too can know and
worship Him within the context of their own culture.
Logo
The Logo represents the vision of
Connecting Cultures; to connect tribal cultures and give them
opportunity to have a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. The four
hands represent the many cultures of the world. They are all black
because they are in the shadow of the Cross, which is the background.
Weaved throughout the ministry is the Holy Trinity, shown by the fingers
intertwined with the colored lines; the red line for God the Son,
Jesus, the white line for God the Holy Spirit, and the gold line for God
the Father. In the very center are two C’s, one above the other,
representing the ministry name. And finally, there is a red circle
surrounding the entire image, showing that the nature of the ministry is
international and global in perspective.
